Global Goals Summer Institute

Upper school students at SP and SPSG are invited to participate in a Global Goals Summer Institute (GGSI). This opportunity is a great foundational start in learning about the UN's Global Goals, and it's a great activity to add to your college application.  The first session of the GGSI will begin on the weeks of July 18 and July 25 and the second session will be held the weeks of August 1 and August 8.

The Global Goals Summer Institute is a project-based, collaborative think tank experience for rising 9-12th grade students, founded in the belief that we all can take on the world's challenges, using creativity, critical thinking, team-building skills, and curiosity. Students will learn about the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals and explore the same challenges the UN faces.

Sessions will be held Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program is free. Students should bring their own lunch.
