Students in grades 5 through 12 at SPSG can explore the school’s unique and rigorous financial literacy curriculum, which combines focused coursework, industry visits, elective experiences, and off-campus internships in economics and finance.
Students who participated in our middle school Costa Rica “Sun and Service Trip” explored the beauty of Costa Rica, admiring the country’s natural attractions, such as volcanos and hot springs, as well as observing animals native to the region. During this seven day trip, middle school students visited the country's many parks such as Arenal Volcano National Park, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, Santa Elena Biological Reserve, and Manuel Antonio National Park.
From shadowing surgeons, entrepreneurs, architects, and sports executives to event planners and political leaders, this year’s senior projects represented the diverse passions of our students. As the final graduation requirement, senior projects create an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a field of interest to them.
Through our middle school "May Days" program, students relive history, learn more about the world around them, and gain a greater understanding of their hometown of Baltimore by visiting local museums, touring Baltimore’s food markets, collaborating on a woodworking project, and participating in service learning activities. Programs like "May Days" provide experiential learning opportunities for our students and are made possible by donor support of the ONE Fund.

Thanks to the generosity of ONE Fund donors, 35 percent of St. Paul’s students and their families received need-based tuition assistance this school year. We are grateful for the donors who direct their ONE Fund gifts to support tuition assistance, giving students the opportunity to receive a St. Paul’s education.
Gifts to the ONE Fund supported St. Paul’s Pre and Lower School faculty and their professional development opportunity to learn about “Conscious-Discipline,” an evidence-based approach to emotional regulation and behavior management. Using a foundation of safety, connection, and problem-solving in the classroom, students now have designated self-regulation spaces with tools to assist them when emotions are overwhelming.
Forty members of the class of 2024 spent the day shadowing an industry of their choice, gaining first-hand experience and invaluable insights into various careers and professions.
The end of the school year marked the culmination of eighth grade students’ Crusader Con capstone projects. As a part of this experience, students developed "This I Believe Statements" in their English and history classes and conducted extensive research on a topic of their choosing.
On Friday, April 21, the Asian Pacific Islander South Asian (APISA) student affinity group hosted an upper school movie night and potluck to gather as a community and celebrate the stories, perspectives, and talents of APISA individuals through film.
“Playing the whole game at the junior level” is the learning concept at the crux of SPSN, St. Paul’s Sports Network. The on-campus sports broadcasting club gives middle and upper school students an apprenticeship-style opportunity to stretch themselves, technically and creatively, while helping to grow the school’s fan base.
Over spring break, members of SP’s Concert Chorale and SPSG’s Saints participated in an international choir tour, performing at many important and historic venues throughout Ireland such as St. Nicholas Church, St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral, and Galway Cathedral.
At the St. Paul’s Schools, the theatre curriculum begins in the fourth grade, immersing students in preparation for our fourth-grade musical as actors, dancers, singers, lighting and sound designers, and producers.
From October 17 to 21, seventh grade students visited Echo Hill Camp in Worton, Maryland, an annual SPSG tradition.
Boys’ middle school students participate in a wide range of service activities that help our students build connections with each other and the greater community around them.
Sixth grade students from St. Paul’s School for Girls visited the lower school and gave presentations on their recent class project on women in STEAM to fourth grade students.
Adventuring for our youngest learners begins at an early age. Our curious preschoolers are busy learning about colors and art through creative, hands-on experiences and sensory play.
