Endowment Giving

The establishment of endowment funds in honor or memory of a loved one creates a lasting legacy of support for a wide range of school priorities. Contributions to and investment proceeds from endowment funds provide a permanent source of income to support merit scholarships, tuition assistance, faculty excellence, and many other initiatives. Additionally, the endowment ensures the long-term sustainability of St. Paul’s and allows our schools to continuously enhance and evolve educational offerings and the student experience.

The SPSG community welcomed Keiffer Mitchell Jr., vice president of BGR’s State and Local Advocacy Practice and former Maryland State Delegate, to campus on Oct. 28 as a part of the Warshawsky Family Visiting Scholar Program. During his visit, Mr. Mitchell delivered an address to the Gator community where he emphasized the importance of social relationships in a democratic society. Additionally, Mr. Mitchell hosted Q&A sessions for our AP U.S. and world history classes and met with upper school students involved in St. Paul’s Price-Eisenhower Civic Engagement Initiative (PEI) over lunch.

The Warshawsky Family Visiting Scholar Program is supported by a generous endowment gift from the Warshawsky family, whose daughter, Jennifer, graduated from SPSG in 1990.

On Sept. 11, St. Paul's junior class left for West River, Maryland to take part in the Cameron D. Baird Junior Retreat, an annual off-campus trip centered around rest and reflection. As part of this beloved St. Paul's tradition, the class of 2026 spent three days reveling in the the beauty of Maryland’s eastern shore and participating in outdoor, team building activities. Supported by an endowment established by the Baird Family, the Cameron D. Baird Junior Retreat honors the legacy of Cam Baird, a cherished St. Paul’s teacher-coach who dedicated his career to making a positive and lasting impact on students.
