Class of 2024 Senior Gift

The Class of 2024 Senior Gift Committee and the schools are excited to introduce two philanthropic initiatives that advance this tradition and benefit our greater school community. The first is the Class of 2024 Senior Scholarships, two need-based tuition assistance awards for qualified students entering ninth grade, one at St. Paul’s School for Girls and one at St. Paul’s School for Boys. The Class of 2024 Senior Gift will also fund a capital project at St. Paul’s. This provides families and students with the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy on campus in honor of the graduating class. This year, the senior classes at SP and SPSG voted to fund capital improvements to the entrance of the schools at Seminary Avenue and Falls Road.

What is our goal? The goal is to raise $160,000 to fund both the Senior Scholarships and the capital improvement project:

  • $80,000 goal for Senior Scholarship funds
Two four-year scholarships ($10,000/year) for SP and SPSG
  • $80,000 goal for funds for capital improvement

How will my gift be structured? Each gift will be split 50/50 between scholarship and capital project funds.

How will the schools select the scholarship recipients? The Class of 2024 Senior Scholarship recipients are selected by the heads of school, in partnership with the admissions staff, and will embody the schools’ values of respect, integrity, and spiritual growth. These awards are retained for the duration of the students’ years in the St. Paul’s upper schools (2023-24 through 2026-27).

When should I give? The sooner, the better! Your gift or pledge can be made in a single payment or by installment. The 2023-24 St. Paul’s Schools’ fundraising year runs from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. We hope that your contribution to the class of 2024 senior gift will serve as your philanthropic priority and top commitment to St. Paul’s this year.
