Episcopal Tradition

Our Episcopal Foundation:
Viewing every child as a child of God

As an Episcopal school, we believe that every child is a child of God. We value the belief that, as God’s children, we see the sacred in each other and in the world around us. Members of the community have time in their schedules to gather by division in order to hear, sing, and reflect on God’s word and to understand how it applies to life at St. Paul’s and in the world beyond our campus.

AS AN EPISCOPAL SCHOOL, WE ARE GROUNDED IN:

  • Academic excellence

  • A welcoming, inclusive environment

  • Reason and open inquiry

  • Tradition

THE FOUR PILLARS OF AN EPISCOPAL SCHOOL

  1. Chapel and Worship—We gather regularly in chapel and worship to pray, reflect, sing, give thanks to God. All are invited to participate, and all are affirmed.
  2. Equity and Justice—We are committed to actively pursuing the dignity of all people and living in service to God and others. Through service we strive for transformation and advocacy.
  3. Religious Education—We value the intellectual development of our students and see the study of religion as an academic pursuit. This is an essential component to developing global citizens.
  4. Community—We live life together in the context of a loving community and encourage open engagement in meaningful and productive dialogue.
