Career Exploration Program

Established in 2015, SPSG’s career exploration program seeks to introduce students to professions that align with their personal interests, strengths, and passions.

Sophomore Shadow Day
A one-day immersion experience where students shadow a professional in a field of interest.

Industry Visits
A two-hour offsite visit to a business or organization in the community

Round Table Discussions
A 45-minute conversation with a professional who shares his/her background, experience, and advice for students interested in pursuing a future in his/her field.

Senior Projects
A two-week unpaid internship in May/June of the senior year.

As part of our Sophomore Seminar class, which prepares students for shadow day, we proudly use the career test and career research provided by Thank you, CareerFitter, for your support.
