The Parents Association recruits class representatives from each grade to communicate with parents regarding activities at the school, help coordinate community-building activities, and support social activities. They serve as a resource for parents, a mentor for new parents, and an advocate for the school.

The St. Paul's Parents Association organizes and executes many fundraising and outreach activities that strengthen our communication and relationships among parents, faculty, staff, and students. In addition to these PA-sponsored events and activities, class representatives organize parent engagement activities throughout the year. Information about these activities are are communicated in the weekly newsletter or directly by the class representative. We are excited to see you participate in this year’s events! 

PICKLEBALL 

The Parents Association offers pick-up pickleball for players of all skill levels!

• Pick-up pickleball is held at the tennis courts located behind the preschool. We will meet on September 30, October 21, November 18, and March 2 from 10 a.m. to noon. 

• Those interested should sign up using the TeamReach app. The leader name is SP Pickleball and the group code is SPpickle. 

• Participants are welcome to bring their own pickleball racquet however, extra paddles and balls will be available.  

• Contact Amy Auman with questions.   

PRAYER GROUP 

The Parents Association prayer groups meets the second and fourth Thursdays of the month from 8 to 9 a.m. This is a safe place and time to pray about anything on people’s hearts. 

• The group will alternate between the SPSG Benevolent chapel and the St. Paul’s chapel.

Volunteer support is essential to the success of our school. By offering your time, energy, and talent, you join a vibrant and fun community, model for your children the importance of service, and build lasting relationships with other parents. 

HOW DO I SIGN UP TO BE A VOLUNTEER? 

Each department, school or committee will extend an invitation for upcoming opportunities in the weekly newsletter and/or through the class representative email. Teachers and class representatives will communicate the need for field trip chaperones, holiday celebrations, etc. throughout the year. 

Parents Association 

Class Representative (Infants–12th Grade)
Every classroom at St. Paul's has two to three parents who serve as a liaison between school and home. Class representatives encourage participation, plan and execute grade-specific social events, meet monthly to learn about new initiatives, and communicate issues/concerns of parents.   

Faculty and Staff Appreciation
Volunteers celebrate and recognize the hard work of St. Paul's faculty and staff by organizing meals, events, and more.

Holiday Decorating
Parents gather to kick off the holidays by decorating our campus inside and out.   

New School Year Cheer
As a part of our New School Year Cheer event, parents and guardians enjoy an evening to connect and engage with new and familiar faces from the school community during this annual PA-sponsored event. Volunteers provide the organizational support to make this event a success!

Snowflake Bake (Pre and Lower School)
Volunteers coordinate our pre and lower school's annual baked goods event! As a part of the Snowflake Bake, parents bake special treat for our faculty and staff during the holidays. 

Uniform Resale Shop
Volunteers organize and collect donated uniforms and manage our uniform resale event three times a year. 

Committees  

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
Committee members organize social and community-building activities to build connections among parents who advocate for the benefits of diversity in education.  

igNIGHT St. Paul’s 
Members of our igNIGHT St. Paul's committee provide support for our largest fundraiser of the year! Volunteers assist with planning and promoting the event, acquiring sponsors, and curating silent auction packages.  

School 

Book Fair (Pre and Lower School)
Volunteers assist with various tasks including set up and breakdown, helping with family nights, and coordinating volunteers. 

Grandfriends Visit Day (Pre and Lower School, SPSG) 
Parent volunteers help make Grandparents Visit Day a success by serving as hosts and greeters and coordinating the day.

 Holiday Bazaar (Lower School)
Volunteers help create a winter wonderland featuring gifts and crafts for holiday shopping, a beloved tradition!
