There are a variety of opportunities to volunteer at The St. Paul’s Schools. Please contact St. Paul’s Erin Hamilton, director of parent engagement, or Elizabeth Brown, alumni relations manager, to learn more about how you can connect with fellow parents and/or alumni and alumnae and enhance the schools’ programs and events.
Volunteer with the Parents Association
Volunteer support is essential to the success of our school. By offering your time, energy, and talent, you join a vibrant and fun community, model for your children the importance of service, and build lasting relationships with other parents. There is a wide variety of opportunities and time commitments, please review the volunteer opportunities and submit a form to sign up.

Volunteer Opportunities:
- Community and Social Gathering Committee – Organize, plan and execute the PA community and social calendar, includes the walking group, prayer group, fitness challenges, family athletics, etc.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee – Organize social and community-building activities to build connections among parents who advocate for the benefits of diversity in education.
- Faculty and Staff Appreciation – Celebrate and recognize the hard work of the faculty and staff.
- Holiday Decorating – Parents gather to kick off the holidays by decorating our campus inside and out.
- igNIGHT St. Paul’s – Our largest fundraiser of the year. Volunteers assist with planning, promoting, acquiring sponsors, and curating silent auction packages.
- International Block Party Committee – Our community gathers to share cultural heritage by cooking traditional dishes, wearing national attire, demonstrating music, dance, and art.
- New Year Cheer – All parents and guardians will enjoy an evening to connect and engage with new and familiar faces from the school community.
- NYC Bus Trip – Daytrip to The Big Apple! Spend the day shopping, watch a show, sightseeing, and more! The buses leave and return to school.
- One St. Paul’s Fest Committee – Celebrate our St. Paul’s community with a family-friendly festival.
- Parent Education Committee – Organize and plan educational events for the parent community on topics of interest.
- Parent Socials – Assist your class representatives with organizing your classes event.
- Service Projects – Assist teachers with projects throughout the year.
- St. Paul’s Hospitality – Greet guests and serve refreshments at important school events.
- Uniform Resale Shop – Organize and collect donated uniforms, manage sale events three times a year.
- Volunteer Committee – Organize and execute the PA volunteer events that occur throughout the school year.
- Welcoming Committee – Assist with welcoming and acclimating the newest families to our community.
- In addition, your child's school has volunteer opportunities as well. (Teachers and class representatives will communicate the need for field trip chaperones, holiday celebrations, etc. throughout the year.)
- Breakfast with Santa (preschool) – Plan a fun-filled morning for the little ones and their families.
- Spring Fling (preschool) – Assist in planning this celebration of spring for families of the preschool.
- Book Fair (preschool and lower school) – Help with various tasks including set up and breakdown, helping with family nights and coordinating volunteers.
- Snowflake Bake Committee (preschool and lower school) – Coordinate a special treat for our faculty and staff during the holidays.
- Grandfriends Visit Day (preschool, lower school, SPSG) – Coordinates grandparent visit day, serving as hosts and greeters.
- Class Picnic and Field Day (lower school) – Plan activities to enjoy outdoors along with lunch and dessert.
- Holiday Bazaar (lower school) – A longstanding tradition, help create a winter wonderland featuring gifts and crafts for holiday shopping!
- Blingo Bingo (SPSG grades 5-12) – An afternoon of bingo, prize baskets, raffles and more for mothers/daughters and special friends.
- Father and Daughter Committee (grades 5-12) – Plan and promote activities for girls and their dads/special friend.
- Father and Son Committee (grades 5-12) – Plan and promote activities for boys and their dads/special friend.
- Mother and Son Committee (grades 5-12) – Plan and promote activities for boys and their moms/special friend.
- Senior Class Events (senior parents only) – Assist in planning events for seniors and/or their families to make the last year memorable.
