ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), only one out of ten animals born in the United States will ever find a permanent place to live, and approximately 6.3 companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year. Can you help one of these animals currently housed at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Center (BARCS) find a home? The 6th Graders (Class of '29) wrote profiles about some of the neediest dogs currently available at the shelter in hopes of helping them find a forever family.
