Student Vestry
The student vestry's purpose is to underscore the significance of faith in the school’s mission statement. Vestry members are individuals for whom faith and spirituality are important.
Tangible duties include reading lessons, leading prayers, giving Chapel talks, distributing communion, leading the procession, and actively participating in the Chapel Service. The vestry also serves in profound but intangible ways. As liturgy is “the work of the people,” the vestry stands as “the people,” representing the student community and providing feedback, insight, and new ideas.
The vestry serves as a reminder of God’s presence in our midst and openly articulates a relationship between God and humanity.
