Summer Workout and Fall Athletics Information

Summer workouts are open to all upper school students who want to participate in a sport. Information about practice apparel will be available in late May. Please contact the coach with any questions.

Workouts the weeks of June 14, 21 , 28 and July 12, 19, 26, Monday through Thursday from 8 to 11 a.m. 
Fall season start date – August 9
All participants should report on Monday, August 9. Practices will be held each weekday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Workouts in June beginning the 2nd on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and in July on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Fall season start dates – Varsity tryouts August 11 with all others on August 16
Varsity soccer candidates should report on Wednesday, August 11. Practices will occur each weekday from 4 to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. For those not trying out for varsity, practice begins on Monday, August 16 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Open gym Saturday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. on June 19, July 10, 17, 24, and 31.

All volleyball players should report for practice on Monday, August 16. Practices will be held on weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

Cross Country 

Workouts Monday through Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. beginning June 21 until the season starts. 
Fall Season start date – August 16
All cross-country runners should report for practice on Monday, August 16.  Practices during the first week will run from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Open Weight Room Hours

The weight room will be open from 10:30 a.m. to  Noon, Monday through Thursday during the weeks of June 14, 21, 28 and July 12, 19, 26. Strength and Conditioning Coach London Fitzhugh will be in the weight room to work with student-athletes and provide sequential workout plans to maximize their training.


Student-Athlete Physicals and Forms

Student-athletes must have ALL health forms uploaded into their Magnus Health profile prior to participating in athletics. Student-athletes will not be able to participate in school activities until all documents are received.  

Fall athletes who are due to update their XLNTBrain baseline should have received an email from Mrs. Kati Ealey. If you have any questions, please reach out to Kati ( or Cat Robinson ( 

Offered June 9 and August 9

 The Athletic Department would like to make you aware that Towson Sports Medicine is offering physicals for student-athletes on June 9 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and August 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at their Towson location.The cost is $30 per physical. To sign up for the June 9 physicals, please click here and for the August 9 physicals, please click here. Every student-athlete is required to have a physical uploaded into Magnus Health prior to the start of sports. We ask that each student do this by July 29 or as soon as possible once the physical is complete. Any student-athlete missing forms by the start of fall sports on August 12 will be held from participation until this has been completed and the corresponding paperwork is uploaded in the Magnus Health system.
