Middle School

St. Paul’s School for Boys Middle School uses an experiential, inquiry-based, and holistic educational approach that is tailored to the unique needs of adolescent boys. Our goal is for each student to develop the skills and habits of mind that lead to mastery of essential knowledge and to becoming lifelong learners. St. Paul's students learn to live by integrity in a safe and inclusive community.

Middle school faculty have dedicated their careers to this age group, and the close bonds between teachers and students are central to the SP experience. The mentor-advisor program helps forge those deep connections and instills what it means to be a St. Paul’s gentleman.

Trained in project-based learning and experiential education, our teachers help students develop curiosity, autonomy, and creative thinking. Acknowledging that the learning process contains setbacks as well as successes, our middle school is the perfect place to develop a growth mindset while being supported by a nurturing faculty whose goal is progress over perfection.

In dozens of opportunities, from arts programs and athletics to multiple global travel options and Lego robotics, St. Paul’s students build lasting relationships with their peers and friends and develop appreciation for the natural gifts in themselves and others.
