Why join our team?

At The St. Paul’s Schools, our faculty and staff are our most valuable resource and a major reason families choose us. On our campus, you are a part of a team that nurtures intellectual curiosity and touches the hearts and minds of students. Our faculty have the freedom and support to try new things and meet each child’s unique needs.

St. Paul’s attracts employees from across the nation with competitive salaries, an excellent benefits package, tuition remission, and more. Our structure is unique, with three schools sharing a 120-acre campus, an Episcopal affiliation, and a mission to develop the intellect and character of students. From preschool to grade 12, students have opportunities to explore everything from peer mentoring to robotics to beekeeping.

St. Paul’s is committed to creating a supportive learning environment where individuals are valued for their unique contributions. A diverse, inclusive environment prepares students to thrive in an increasingly global community. We reject all prejudice, particularly those based on race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, and physical characteristics.

What brings us together, as educators, is a passion for lifelong learning and for moments of awe and wonder. For more information about employment opportunities, or to send a resume, please contact Executive Director of Human Resources Shannon Duckett at 443-632-1083

Why St. Paul's?

Rather than being siloed by department, I find that teachers are able to work together across the curriculum. Veteran teachers readily mentor others and share their experience. There are opportunities to contribute to the school's academic and community development, and to participate in travel and extracurricular experiences. Whether it is a simple conversation over salads from the Ward Center or a curriculum committee diving into how to improve the student experience in our science courses, there is a sense of camaraderie and support at every turn.

I love how the adults in the community are so authentically student-centered. It means so much to work in a school where we value and protect our community - because it demonstrates community for our students, and they then bring this to the greater communities of which they are a part.

St. Paul’s is such a fun and spirited community to be part of! I’m humbled by my talented and caring colleagues, and honored to do this work together. I look forward to coming to work and am grateful for this family to be my home away from home.

Ultimately, the best thing about working at St. Paul’s is the people. We are a group of people who believe being a member of the St. Paul’s community means being a part of something bigger than yourself. We celebrate each other’s successes and support each other in times of need.
